Family renting since 1977 with many returning guests.
We've come to Avoriaz since 1977 when, after half an hour of consideration and a camper waiting in Champéry, we bought 62. Two children later we bought 49 in 1986 and finally 54 in 2001.
We love Avoriaz and visit several times each year, some years also in summer, enjoying introducing it to friends and family.
We were among the first to make our own website in 1996, refreshed it in 2004, and ten years later in 2014 gave it a thorough modernization—matching the fully renovated apartments and added extras to deliver a strong product — and in 2025 we updated it again to make it more mobile‑friendly.
All three apartments sit one above the other in the Hauts‑Forts building in the centre of the car‑free resort of Avoriaz – perched above Morzine with true ski‑in / ski‑out access to the vast Portes du Soleil area. Hauts‑Forts is in the older, quieter part of Avoriaz with open views south and south‑west across the ski area towards Switzerland and down the Morzine valley. From the elevator exit you step directly onto the slopes heading both towards the Swiss border and down to Prodains. About 50 m to the nearest lift and you can always ski back. Lift passes (cheaper online) can be bought / collected at the cable car station ~75 m away. ~30 m to the French ski school meeting point and roughly 200 m to the kids' snow garden, tourist office and various shops and restaurants.
Getting here is easy: ~80 km from Geneva (frequent flights + direct shuttle) or about 14 hrs drive from Denmark (recommended route via Basel).
